Mirador Playa Cristal Tayrona had breathtaking views that really impressed me. Every morning, I enjoyed stunning sunrises from my room. The sunsets at the beach left me in awe, especially when I was the only one there. Naydu and her family were welcoming, making sure I felt right at home. The food was top-notch. I found myself looking forward to every meal. The logistics of getting there were rough. the ride to Neguanje was bumpy, and I was anxious about the boat journey. Mosquitoes were a slight nuisance, but the netting on the beds did help at night. While my room was clean and basic, the bathroom layout needed work since it was located downstairs, making late-night trips less convenient. Still, the tranquility of the place more than made up for its minor flaws. I didn't get to snorkel this time, but others reported beautiful underwater sights, which I regretted missing out on. Note that charging my devices was a challenge at times, likely due to the solar power. Despite these issues, I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the camaraderie I felt at meals with the other guests. It felt intimate and social. Overall, Mirador Playa Cristal is a special spot, primarily for its stunning location and the genuine care from the hosts. But be ready for some rough travels getting there!

The personalized service was outstanding, and the staff provided excellent meals that felt homemade. The beach is beautiful and perfect for sunset views, making it a great spot to unwind after a day of adventure.
While the journey to the location is a bit challenging due to rough roads and some pushy locals, it’s manageable with patience.

Stunning ocean views greet you upon arrival, making each sunrise and sunset truly unforgettable. The beach offers beautiful scenery, perfect for unwinding or evening strolls under a starry sky.
Getting to this spot isn't the smoothest ride. the roads leading to Neguanje are a real challenge, and the boat ride can be overpriced depending on your choice. Be prepared for some mosquitoes. while the bed nets help at night, the little pests might keep you on your toes. The charging can be tricky due to sporadic electricity, likely from solar sources.

The room was pretty basic but comfortable enough. I slept really well despite a strong storm one night. The bathroom being downstairs was a bit inconvenient, especially for late-night trips. It was clean and well-constructed, but don't expect luxury. The views from the room were stunning, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets to enjoy. Just be ready for some rough travel to get there!

A Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Views!
The stunning ocean views captivated me the moment I arrived. I enjoyed delightful meals prepared by the welcoming staff, who always made me feel right at home. For future visitors, consider the boat ride from Santa Marta for a smoother journey. Don’t miss the sunsets—they’re unforgettable!
